National Radon Action

January is National Radon Action month. The Environmental Protection Agency urges people to test their homes. Radon is a cancer causing natural radioactive gas that you can't see, smell, or taste. Its presence in your home is a health hazard and the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. It claims more than 20,000 lives yearly.
